Jake
TBT -- 2004 at USDAA nationals, me with a fresh perm and Jake still competing at the national level just before his 13th birthday. He looks so young still!
Jake didn't come to live with me until he was 6 or 7. In our years together, he earned his CPE C-ATCH, his NADAC O-NATCH (like a triple NATCH), and his ASCA ATCH. In addition, this little dog, under 18" at the shoulder, earned his USDAA ADCH jumping 24" in the old days, then finished at 22"--and then all over again in Performance for his PDCH. He was USDAA Performance Top Ten in Jumpers somewhere in there, too. And he loved to lie upside down on my lap, and to play fetch endlessly and happily, ears flopping as he went. I always registered him as a Semidachshund breed.
OH, and he earned his Companion Dog title, too. His final title set looked like this: ADCh,APD (now called PDCH),O-NATCh,ATCH,CATCH; SACh-Bronze,SCh-Bronze,ASD-Bronze,AJD,AKD; CGC; TN-E,TG-O,WV-O,EGC-V,EJC-V; GV-E-OP
